Ashanti Douglas is also referred to as Ashanti and is born in Glen Cove New York United States on October 13th 1980. She is an American singer songwriter. The talent of Ashanti was discovered when she was a teenager. The singer signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. The same year she also appeared in Fat Joe's What's Luv? song and Ja Rule's Always on Time track, both of which became massive hits. The first ever female to make it into the second and third positions in the United States, with Foolish on number one and What's Luv? She became the first female artist to hold the top two spots on The Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States With Foolish as number one, and then What's Love? Let's celebrate the special occasion together. Ashanti Douglas, or Ashanti as she's more popularly known, was born in Glen Cove New York in 1980. Tina Douglas is the mother of Ashanti, and Ken Kaide Douglas is father. Kenashia Shai Douglas is her sibling. She is the oldest. Douglas named Ashanti Douglas to Ghana following the Ashanti Empire. Hey Baby After the Club was released on 16 October for radio and digital outlets. She was Latasha In Army Wives and starred in the film Christmas in the City. Aitch was one of the British rapper sampled her song Rock wit U for Baby on the 10th of March in 2022.
